  • Only those institutes which submitted complete objective data on time were ranked. Some like IIT, Delhi, which did not submit complete data were not considered.

AIEEE is an all India entrance examination test for admission to various NITs, IIITs, deemed universities and for few state institutions, which will be conducted by central board of secondary education (CBSE) for B.E. /B. Tech and B. Arch/B. Planning courses
  • This year, for the first time, the board has also made facility available for appearing in online examination for one lac candidates on first come first served basis in select 20 cities with a capacity of 5000 per city

All India Engineering/ArchitectureEntrance Examination (AIEEE) Notification - 2011 
  • The exam date for All India Engineering / Architecture Entrance Examination had been announced by CBSE, is on 01st May, 2011
  • Registration facility for submission of online application for AIEEE-2011 from 23/11/2010 
  • The sale of AIEEE 2011 application form from the identified branches of Syndicate Banks all over India, identified institutions and Regional Offices of CBSE will be started from 22nd December, 2010. 
  • The last date for online submission of form will be 14.1.2011
     As per the orders of the Min. of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India, the online examination would be conducted for a maximum of 1.0 lac candidates in BE/B.Tech only and remaining candidates will appear in Pen & paper mode (off-line) as conducted earlier.

IIT - JEE Notification 2011:
The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is an all-India entrance examination administered and conducted by IIT’s for admission to undergraduate courses at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT).
Eligibility criteria for IIT-JEE 2011:
  • Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination, namely, XII standard or any equivalent examination, after 1st October 2009 or in the year 2010 or will be appearing in 2011.  Refer IIT website to know the details of minimum percentage of marks in Qualifying Exams
  • You can attempt JEE only twice, in consecutive years (that means you should have attempted JEE for the first time in 2010 or will be appearing in 2011)

JEE Test format:
  • 2 question papers and each will have 3 sections separately (Maths, Physics and Chemistry)Time period for each question paper is 3 hours
  • All questions are of objective type (multiple choice questions)
  • Answers should be marked on Optical Response Sheet (ORS) using HB pencils only
  • The candidate will have the option of submitting the application form either on-line or off-line
  • Incorrect answers will be awarded negative marks
  • Candidates can opt for Question Papers either in English or in Hindi.  This option should be exercised while filling the application form. It cannot be changed at any later stage
